Pattabhi Jois. In this class, the postures of the primary series will be taught by the teacher calling out the names of the postures in Sanskrit according to the classical Vinyasa count.

It starts with a Gentle yoga asana (posture) sequence to help reduce physical stress and strain followed by some Pranayama (breathing) exercises to induce calmness and it ends with a guided deep relaxation (for around 20min). The practitioner feels completely relaxed, present and rejuvenated at the end of Yoga Nidra Class.



Iyengar Yoga is a style of Hatha yoga named after its founder BKS Iyengar. It differs from other styles of yoga in its unique aspect of emphasis on precision and alignment in performing the asanas (postures) Quality of movement is prioritized over quantity. Specific teaching points awaken the body’s intelligence:  you learn to move with ease in your body while working within your limitations. The use of props is incorporated when needed to make the posture accessible for everyone and safe to perform.
